When I wake up I read the online newspaper from my laptop which it's my daily routine... I like to read and find what is the hot topic for today's newspaper, but I just want to write related on my side.
This is very important topic to be shared which it's troubled many public people out there who related to this issue..
"A LONG WAIT FOR BIGGER LRT TRAINS." news from News Straits Times dated by today 05 September 2008, by Arman Ahmad.
I still remember when I was working at Batu Caves Selangor, I use this public transportation which is every people like to use it for save their petrol cost especially in this inflation era. But for me that is the only transportation provided very fast to reached at the destination. I stay at Shah Alam and take a komuter to Kl Central and then, take LRT (Light Rapid Transit System) to the Gombak or Putra Station..So, I can imagine how long I wait the trains after I back about 5.00p.m..and rushing to attend my out campus class at 6.00p.m at Uitm Shah Alam. Moreover, the quantity of people who has a same objective to wait that public transport. Unfortunately, the Komuter mostly Port Kelang, and Rawang frequently have a delay problem. This is really dissapointed for some people who want rushing to another destination after back from work.
Furthermore, my friend who also working at the Kuala Lumpur now was rushing and sometimes not attend that day class because of Komuter delay.... So, we're really dissapointed about this problem...When the Komuter arrived, then a thousand of people want enter the Komuter, at last the pack and overloaded happened. This is very normal problem at our Public transport especially Komuter and train.
But, when I read today news from NST then I understand why this happen..and my friend also must understand and accept it as a normal problem face to the developed and growth countries. For this time, The Light Rapid Transit system is going to see improvement in the wake of recent censure by the prime minister: 35 new trains are in the pipeline. ..and trains will be operational by April 2011
Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad chief executive officer Shaipudin Shah Harun said the delay was unavoidable as the trains were custom built from scratch abroad. They will arrive in Port Klang in November. The time before commissioning will be spent on assembling the parts of the units, upgrading the power capability of the line and carrying out safety tests. He said the new four-car trains would increase the capacity of the Kelana Jaya line from 160,000 passengers to 350,000 passengers daily.Abdullah, in a surprise check on the LRT and Komuter services recently, found them wanting with long queues and an inordinately long waiting time for trains.Subsequently, he announced a RM35 billion allocation in Budget 2009 to improve public transportation services.
Therefore, our goverment isn't just sit and see the problem, despite they doing and the project is in process. For those use this public transport must understand this problem systematically...
Thus, We as the passenger must take the ways to overcome our problem..For those who want quickly and rushing to go to the destination must take otehr alternative how to settled the problem..
As a conclusion we must take a positive think to undestand the problem and search how this is happend and what to do ... So, don't just blame the goverment and related organization only...
This is only my opinion adapted and including the news from News Strait Times dated today.. Lets us think positive.
